The monoblock refrigeration system uses a hermetic reciprocating compressor, which is also called piston compressor. The compressor likes a pump, compress and push the refrigerant through the system to complete the refrigeration cycle. Fan motor is also one of the important parts of the refrigeration system. The function of condenser fan motor is to take away the heat from the condenser. The function of evaporator fan motor draws air through the evaporator coils to remove heat from the refrigerator or cold room. EBM is a famous brand in global. Weiguang is a famous brand in China. Glen refrigeration monoblock refrigeration units adopt EBM brand or Weiguang brand, but also can change to other brands according to your special requirements.
Evaporator is a kind of heat exchanger. It has the same work principle as condenser, converts the low temperature low pressure liquid refrigerant into low temperature low pressure gas refrigerant, absorbs the heat from the refrigerator or cold room to achieve the cooling or freezing. In reverse cycle defrost, the evaporator acts as an condenser, the high temperature refrigerant discharged from the refrigeration compressor, flows into the evaporator directly by the four-way solenoid valve. The high-temperature hot gas condensates in evaporator and release a lot of heat to melt the frost or ice. Glen refrigeration’s evaporator adopts internally grooved copper tube to improve the heat exchange efficiency.
For top mount monoblock refrigeration unit, side mount monoblock refrigeration unit and vending machine refrigeration unit, we have three options: Cubigel compressor or Embraco compressor or Secop compressor.
For wall mounted refrigeration unit and ceiling mount monoblock refrigeration unit, we use Sanyo variable speed refrigeration compressor.

For the top mount monoblock refrigeration unit and side mount monoblock refrigeration unit, it has three defrosting methods. For chiller, defrosting works by air circulation and no heater; but for freezing, it use electric heating defrost or hot gas bypass defrost.
For wall mounted refrigeration unit and ceiling mount monoblock refrigeration unit, they use reverse cycle defrost.
During compressor stop time, the condenser fan also stops.
For chiller, as it is without heater, so the evaporator fan is ON. For freezer, defrosting works by heater, so the evaporator fan is “OFF”.
For the top mount monoblock refrigeration unit and side mount monoblock refrigeration unit, it is self-evaporated.
For wall mounted refrigeration unit, it has water pan electric heating tube and drain hose.
