The function of Sanhua four-way valve is to change the refrigerant flow direction from refrigeration cycle to hot gas defrost cycle. The reverse cycle of hot gas defrost is a advanced and high efficient refrigeration system defrost method. It utilizes a four-way valve to reverse the refrigerant flow, changing the roles of evaporator and condenser. In refrigeration cycle, the high-temperature high-pressure refrigerant vapor from the compressor flows into the condenser coil; while in reverse cycle hot gas defrost period, the high-temperature high-pressure refrigerant from the compressor flows into the evaporator coil directly, transfer the heat to the evaporator coil which warms up and finally melts the ice on the evaporator surface. Compared with traditional electric heater defrosting, the reverse cycle hot gas defrosting has the advantages of high efficiency, short defrost cycle, temperature fluctuates small and low energy consumption.

Firstly, prepare a opening on one of the cold room wall panel, you also can ask your cold room panel manufacturer to make it when producing the sandwich panel. Then insert the unit and secure it with screws. We will provide the screws with the monoblock refrigeration unit.
